| DELMARVA ADVENTURE SPORTS Entry Fee Payment Terms and Conditions 1. Adventure Racing is an "all-weather" sport, and our events will be held rain or shine, hot or cold, unless a weather condition, natural disaster, National emergency, or any other hazard exists or arises that would pose a significant or uncontrollable danger to race participants (example: hurricane/tropical storm impact). There are no rain dates or make-up dates for our races. All reasonable efforts will be made by race directors not to cancel events or portions of events, unless no safe alternative to cancellation exists. 2. Race directors reserve the sole right to cancel an entire event or portions of an event at any time, if weather conditions, natural disasters, National emergencies, or any other hazards exist or arise that would pose a significant or uncontrollable danger to race participants. What exactly constitutes a significant or uncontrollable danger is at the sole discretion of race directors, but could include such situations as hurricanes, significant flooding, severe lightning storms, terrorist attacks or threats, etc. 3. No refunds will be offered for cancelled events. 4. No refunds will be offered for teams withdrawing 30 days or less from the start date of the race. Teams wishing to withdraw >30 days prior to the start date of the race will receive a 50% refund of their entry fee. |
