2024 STORM the Eastern Shore

24-hour Adventure Race

- CANCELLED -

- EVENT CANCELLED -

EVENT OVERVIEW

STORM the Eastern Shore is back! Join us for an epic 24 hours of biking, trekking, and paddling on the eastern shore of Delmarva. The STORM the Eastern Shore AR has a history of showcasing some of the most remote and beautiful areas of Delmarva's Eastern Shore, in an 18 hour or longer race format, and this year will not disappoint! For experienced racers looking for a challenge, come test the limits of this fast and flat course and see if you have what it takes to clear the entire course in 24 hours! For newer racers who have never raced in an event this long, this race will be a great "first 24 hour" race for you to try out, offering multiple course-shortening options which allow you to see what you can do in 24 hours and still make it to the finish as an official finisher!

This race uses rogaine scoring . For those new to adventure racing this means that the race is determined by who can obtain all mandatory checkpoints and the highest number of optional checkpoints within the prescribed time window for the course (24 hours in this case). This is a great way to allow racers of all fitness levels to compete in the same event, since slower and newer racers can strategically choose which checkpoints to skip if they are running low on time.

2024 Mid-Atlantic Autumn Adventure Series

This race is also proud to be part of the new Mid-Atlantic Autumn Adventure Series! This October, we are partnering with Broad Run Off Road and Rootstock Racing to offer you 3 epic adventure races on 3 back-to-back weekends, all within a relatively short distance of each other. Race in at least 2 of these epic events to earn a special series medal, and a chance to win the overall series and cash prizes!
